Looking through a lens on the backside of the wooden casement, a viewer can peer inside to see droplets of water dancing in space. Utilizing optics and a high-speed strobe light, a stream of water is turned into singular drops that at times seem frozen in time and space and in other instances seem to be moving backwards in time.
